C7 full racing stripes help
Im looking into full race stripes for my c7 stingray w carbon flash spoiler/skirts etc
carbon flash stripes
better vendor vettes fx or vette stripes
I guess vette stripes goes around the emblem for easier install and vette fx have to remove emblems
fx recommends oracal 951 also for best match
tough decision who to go with
any suggestions appreciated

I love my stripes. However, were I to order again I would not order them from the factory, and have a good paint/body shop paint them on. I love the way they look, but not a fan of the stickers.

Either of those two vendors will treat you right. It just comes down to who you think gives you the best deal and will match up the other components the best.

There are some real advantages to the the taped on stripes. I have had several cars done and they are very durable They can be removed if a new prospective buyer does not like them. Not had much of that though as most really liked the stripes on my 08,13, and now the 16

having said all of that Vette Stripes has some great patterns for the C-7

Another vote for vette stripes here. Very prompt service and helpful hints from Mike. Cost is about 2/3 less than from GM. I much prefer the stick on (rather than painted) because they can be easily removed if you get tired of them.

I have used Vette Stripes twice and happy both times. First set installed by Mike (Vette Stripes) in Dallas and second set done recently by local auto decal shop. He is much cheaper than GM, as others have said.

I agree. For the same $1000 I had my done by the best painter and pinstripes in my area. No fading and spotting like vinyl.

Bought the GM factory kit at 15% discount from Dealer. Had a pro install them for $350.
Perfect job & look great. Cut outs around emblems so no need to removethem.

Love the stripes, but if you get a clear bra and later have to remove it, wouldn't you pull up the tape stripes? I've had to actually replace a clear bra due to damage from someone backing into my car.

Has anyone used Duplicolor removeable paint for striping?
I've thought about doing a stinger...
