Default Z06 prices and sales

I'm sure this has been discussed but I'm so frustrated I can't hold back any more. There are literally hundreds of unsold C7 Z06's available for sale, and now I am seeing some lease offers. I've had my eye on several, but the dealers, especially here in So Cal, are not budging on price. To be frank, I'm tired of looking and want to pull the trigger. Any suggestions? And yes, I even emailed Kerbeck and they did not respond.

Don't email why would you?Get on the phone. Many dealers are so busy.I never do email when buying A car.Kerbeck has Z-06's 1LZ's for 75K and change.McMaulkin has them for 76K.
I would be surprised if Criswell will sell at that price.
When I bought my 2014 C7 Criswell wouldn't go under MSRP.I went with Kerbeck 49k.
Good luck.Go do the phone.

Sadly, I've noticed that instead of e-mailing you directly, they use the contact us on the general web site. They don't realize that the message will get lost in the clutter.

I live in NorCal, bought from Ken Fichtner at Denny Menholt in Montana.

Seriously, a few of the nicest days of my life was flying to Billings and driving my z51 home, through Yellowstone. Nevada, and over the Sierras. Took 2.5 days.

Buying from Ken was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Paperwork took 5 minutes.

I'm partial to this experience, if you do consider it, PM me for any details. I ate at great places and nailed it with hotels.

Ken and his s/o are great folks. Known them for years going back to the old dealership. I really enjoyed buying this latest C7 from him. In a couple of years, my son intends on buying an SS Camaro from him.

There are a number of forum dealers that will give a very good price on a Z06. Shop around and get your best deal.

It's an amazing device!! You push/dial a sequence of numbers on this thing and almost instantly, you get a response from someone else,or a machine to direct you to someone else at least!! New technology.Try it.

When we were shopping in late September, no one would budge off msrp on Z06s except one, they offered 2% off. I couldn't bring myself to pay top dollar.

That said, if you don't mind buying off the rack, deals are starting to appear. With year end, I'd like to think someone is ready to avoid inventory tax.

SoCal is probably the last place I would expect to find any good deals on a sports car...ever. The market conditions are driving the price. If you wait a few months and are willing to travel, I think you will be able to find the deal you want. Kerbeck has about 6.5% discount off of MSRP on ZO6s now...if you wait until Jan/Feb, and are willing to travel or have the car shipped, you might do better. Also, when pressure builds as the 17s are near, there will be more incentives for the 16s. The real buying window hasn't really opened yet...don't sweat it.

Oh, I agree with how these deals require more than an email...you gotta talk to people, build the rapport...get engaged...they need to know you are serious...an email isn't serious. For example, I went and met Mike Furman at Criswell last Sat morning before he got swamped. Sipped some coffee with him and he answered my questions...first class guy. I'm not ready to make a deal just yet...still doing the prep work.

Good luck!

I disagree. If you're not going to return an email, stay off the internet. Why give out a phone number if you don't plan on taking or returning calls?

Good news, bad news, no news, there's absolutely no excuse for a **** poor business pratice.

That said, my experience was multiple emails AND phone calls before getting a response. But, I wanted the car.

Ordered my Z06 from Selman Chevrolet in So Cal and did get a decent deal. Yes, they have plenty allocation. I ordered my Z06 3 weeks ago and it's will be built next week (TPW 12/14). Markups period is over in So Cal and you can get a decent deal locally at dealers that do have allocations.

You will find out that most dealers especially the large ones don't return the calls or at least take some time before they get back to you. Thanks for sharing with us this new technology. what is it called?
