I'm waiting as well. Keep checking Amazon but no luck so far. I know you can modify to get one to fit but I'm wanting one that fits without having to modify anything. I did put a Mobil 1 sticker next to the cap as an interim measure.

Yes, that's about all we can do at this point.

Suburban Chevy / Parts Monkey said months ago they were going to offer us some sort of solution, but they've gone radio silent on the subject. As far as stickers, I've had Mobil promise me they'd send me some twice, and never gotten a thing.

I'm sorry, you live in Coralville, Iowa and we're not worthy?
Grew up in Marshalltown, went to Iowa State and I still want an oil cap that says Mobil 1 on it.

You can modify the oil orifice to fit an FC-215 dry-sump cap. Just grind down the top tab inside the filler neck (engine side). The wet-sump cap has two tabs and the dry-sump has one.

I personally won't be doing the mod because (1) from my POV there is no reason to do it and (2) I'm wary of making permanent alterations that might go awry and/or affect my warranty. The dealer I'm using to perform my free oil changes will use Mobil 1 regardless of the cap on the car, and after the freebies are over I'll be doing it myself and the writing on the cap remains irrelevant.

Makes a lot of sense to me.

If you are successful and the price is fair, you have a lot of hungry customers.

I'm sure the 2016 Camaro SS owners will be begging for one soon enough as well.

I am pretty confident about my solution. I think a good goal for the price is around $50.

I switched to Valvoline Synpower.

Where do I get a Mobil 1 cap with a circle and slash through it?

I think a better price would be around $30.00.

Hmm. The dealer is supposed to use Mobil 1 for all Vettes. Those that elect to use the least expensive dexos approved oil they buy in 55 gallon drums for the mechanic's helper in the oil change bay to pump with their measuring gun that they set for the capacity shown in the Owner's Manual chart (which for my Z51 is ~ 1/2 quart in excees and overfills) will probably just use it regardless what the cap says!

My wet sump LT1 doesn't have Mobile One in it so no need for the fancy cap. I use a local brand synthetic I get at Napa. Northland Oil 5w30 full synthetic. Dexos approved.

Mine does, as stated by the factory and my Chevy service department. All Corvettes that get there oil changed there get Mobile 1, unless you other wise request different oil.
