Default How disappointed are you that you sold your C6 and bought a C7?

As Flip Wilson said "The devil made me do it".
Always Red Dave started a thread on the C6 forum titled "Any C6 guys thinking of coming over to the C7 section anytime soon?".
The thread has generated some interesting comments, to say the least.
I'm curious what comments, if any, this thread will generate.
For my part, I am on my second C6 and am quite happy with the car. I am ok with C7s. In fact, I have several friends that have gone from C6s to C7s...and they are still friends.

The only people I know who are salty about selling their C6 for a C7 are the ones who purchased one sight unseen, only to realize they cant fit in it. Everyone else I know who has a C7 loves it.

I loved my '05 coupe for the entire nine years that I owned it. Had it been the only Corvette I could ever own, I'd have had no regrets whatsoever - it was a fantastic car. Just over a year ago I traded it for my '15 Stingray. As much as I loved the '05, I love the '15 even more. I'm glad to have made the switch.

I kept a C6, which I still enjoy, and also like my C7.

They both are a good time.

I owned a 08 zo6 and LOVED the car, but because of problems with it I sold it got a c/7. I don't like the c7 especially the rear end. I fit in it quite well. I think the c/6 has the curves of a woman and c/7 looks like some kid playing on his etcha sketch drew it.

I liked the analog dash of the C6 more than the screen on the C7. I realize to offer some of the features could not be offered without the screen. Other than that the C7 is a completely different animal. Much more refined and user friendly. Great job GM.

The C5 is the generation with the real curves. When I bought my C7 I sold my C6 and kept my C5.

Yeah, I kinda like the older guage cluster better as well. Easy to read at a quick glance. That may just be because of familiarity, tho, in all fairness. I do like the custom settings the C7 allows, so that is the flip side of it.

As a child of the digital age, I prefer the ability to customize my gauge layout.

I really liked my 08 and still like my 93 even though its a chore to get in and out of.

Am I sorry I sold my C6? No, I feel the C7 is superior in every area that I care about. I'm very happy with my C7. I do not miss the C6.

2011 C6 was nice and 2015 C7 is nicer. Drives better, handles better, seats are better, faster and under warranty. No regrets. The Corvette I wish I had kept was my 1962.

It is a major step forward. Don't miss my C6 at all. I love everything about my C7. It is much more refined and is an amazing car!

No regrets other than having a car payment now. The C7 is better in every way than my C6.
