Simichrome polish is widely used, great results, sold on Amazon or Ebay for about $9.00........used with a Mothers power cone that attaches to a drill provides superior results. One tube of Simichrome will last a long time.

damp rag get all clean, then I use a elec drill with a small pad on it and polish it with mothers to a nice shine. Looks just like glass. My pad is small I even get back into the exhaust holes all the way back also. I use the same small pad as above also, even use it on wheels and also the bigger and round one on wheels.

I use Mothers Chrome Polish, apply it let it dry wipe off with a micro fiber towel and looks as good as new.

When I had my bmw m5 I would drive it on dry winter days. That said, salt getting on the exhaust tips was still an issue. What I would do every week was take a rag of wd40 and wipe them down good to prevent corrosion and keep them shining like new. They always looked brand new! Not sure if there are negative aspects of doing so, however you will have to continuously do this as the exhaust will burn the oil off.

As well never use the same material to clean the exhaust vs the rest of the car.

Sound good to me WD40 will work great on about anything like this. I am going to have to try this one.

Once or twice a week I take a couple mins. and wipe off the exhaust tips with a damp hand towel. Follow that with a dab of any good auto metal/chrome polish (Mothers) on a clean dry hand towel. Shine like new. I have done this from new. Much easier to stay on top of it that way. Clean exhaust tips look great!

I use Mothers Mag Polish on mine and it does a great job shining up the exhaust tips. Use of a Powerball makes the job easier.

I keep a can of glass wipes in my trunk and every 2-3 days I wipe the camera and exhaust tips. Every month or two I do drill + power ball + mag polish

I keep mine clean with a damp paper towel, gets the scum off. Occasssionly, when the residue gets horrible, I use an automobile polish to eliminate the accumulated brown spots that are more difficult to remove. I don't get to aggressive cleaning the pipes, on engine startup all is for naught.
