Carbon Fiber Outside Mirror Install: Degree of Difficulty?
Has anyone installed carbon fiber replacement housings on their C7? If so, is it DIY friendly? I've looked at the procedure, just wondering if there are any 'gotcha' moments in the process. Thanks.

I haven't done it on the C7, but I did install them on my C6 Grandsport. One thing to be VERY carful about is reattaching the glass mirror as it is easy to break when pushing it into the holders in the CF housing. The key is to distribute equal pressure across the mirror when attaching it.
