2015/2016 C7 Z51 Machined Face Wheels
One of my friends has a 2014 C7 Z51 with the fully black 19" and 20" wheels. He ordered those since there was no machined face option on Z51 C7's until 2015/2016.
He's looking to purchase and replace his existing black wheels with the Z51 black machined face wheels. (QCC option code)
I've searched and searched and I am unable to find the actual GM part number for these wheels so that he can order them. He does not want any "reproduction" or "replica" wheels, he wants the actual OEM Z51 machined face wheels that come from the factory.
Anyone know where we can order these?

One thing is for sure, they are very good looking wheels.

I also like the Z51 machined faced wheels. The aftermarket just don't look right. i've been watching the parts for sale section and never see the OEM wheels for sale. If anybody has a set of OEM machined faced Z51 wheels for sale, PM me. Thanks.

I've only seen them in pictures online and on the forums and the chevy build-your-own tool... and it was enough to convince me to order them on my Arctic White/Adrenaline Red C7 Z51 3LT! I should be taking delivery sometime in the next 2 months and I simply cannot wait!
Are those in the picture aftermarket?
It just seems like the perfect combination between black and machined aluminum... I can't wait to see them in person!
I think when my buddy sees them when I take delivery of my vette... he's going to place an order for them immediately, if he hasn't done so already...

Before your friend spends crazy money on new GM wheels, he should investigate having his existing wheels powder coated and machined locally. I had mine done (5 spoke, non Z51), cost was $200 per wheel and that included removing the wheel/tire/powdercoating/machining the faces/re-mount and balance the tires/re-install the wheels.
Here's the before and after:

Thanks. It completely changed the car, IMO. In fairness, the "after" picture also has the car lowered on stock bolts (which helps the look also). Also note that I used the stock center caps rather than buying the black center caps that come with the machined face wheel option.

They look really really good in person.
Pictures don't do them justice.
If I had seen what they looked like in person before I ordered I might have them instead of the black wheels.
But the upcharge is just stupid expensive.

Does anybody have a close up picture of the picture of the aftermarket wheels next to the OEM? If so, please post.
From what I've seen, the aftermarket wheels look great from a distance, but up close it's obvious their are not OEM wheels.

I went with the machined faced wheels on my Z51. The car is torch red with lots of black accents (mirrors, spoiler, badges, stinger, exposed carbon fiber roof). I didn't want silver or chrome wheels but I also didn't want black. These seemed like a nice mix of dark and light and I'm really glad I got them. Could not be happier with them.
