Suggest you do the following:
Buy a Nanoskin (Fine Grade) wash mitt from Amazon....about $40.00
The Nanoskin Mitt is much better than the clay bar. It is new technology.
Hand wash the car with Nanoskin Mitt
Dry the car
Use a Prep Polish with automatic polisher (DP Prep Polish or Meguiars 205)
Buff out polish by hand.
Apply our favorite paint sealant or ceramic coating. (Meguiars Synthetic Paint Sealant 2.0).
Appy your favorite wax if you wish.
This is the process I have used many times.......you will get superior results.

Drifting
Put a plastic sandwich bag over your finger tips and run across the paint. If you feel a gritty paint surface a claybar will smooth it out. After claying it will feel as smooth as a baby's behind.

I have clayed my 2014 3 times now. I never apply a sealer or wax product without claying first. I do not have a swirl problem but I agree with others here, clay only removes surface impurities, not swirls and scratches.

It also is about 1000x times easier then clay. I got a mitt, a little more but works great.

Before you get thinking the clay is the secret, it's not, it's the polish....just do my regimen, it's exactly the same as what nmvette is recommending above and about 100 people are doing it here....Download and read them in order:

Burning Brakes
nmvette has the right steps I would only add one stage in the beginning by using IronX before you attempt a nano skin. Sounds like your car could probably use a decon and this stuff works awesome.
