I like the chrome on the Torch Red. Everybody has their own preferences.

www.Calchrome.com They do excellent work and likely do trade-in's on Vette wheels.

Jim:

Make your life simple....re-read post #3 above and call Keith (docz-1stratecorvetteparts) a CF vendor. They have top ratings for service and their pricing for aftermarket wheels are excellent. They have a wide selection of choices.

Speak with Keith directly. He is a wheel specialist and so nice to speak with.

You might also want to post a photo of your TR Z06 and the wheels you do not like. There is a strong possibility that another CF member might be interested in purchasing them if you are looking to sell.

Your response is quite vague.

If you're referring to post #23 above, yes there should be. This CF vendor knows how to do business, treat the customer right, and offer extremely competitive prices. The vendor and the direct contact mentioned is a straight shooter, no BS and does what he says he will do.

He answers emails, takes calls, invoices via credit card or Paypal.

What else would you want Walt?

When I do business with any vendor, whether a CF vendor or otherwise, and they treat me well, deliver the goods and do what they say they will do, I have a tendency to endorse the vendor, simply because any referrals that I send, I know they will take care of the customer.

I don't see the point you are trying to make with your remark above other than being sarcastic. If you're referring to my suggestion to the OP posting a photo of his wheels there is a high probability he could very well sell them here. Many items are bought and sold from and between CF members.

I really don't care if some one likes those black wheels. It's their choice, however, if you want to get chrome wheels go to the wheel exchange at either West Coast Corvette of House of Wheels. At least you'll get some return for you existing wheels. What most people that are now en-nammered with black wheels are totally unaware of is why chrome wheels exist. Chrome protect the base metal. Black paint doesn't and the black is harder to clean, protect and is ugly. Sorry guys, but, that's the truth.

Agreed. I posted pictures of the first one that came into Selman Chevrolet. Everyone on the lot said it was "stunning."
