I don't think so, but to each their own.

Read the article. I thought it was perfectly credible till he called Corvette owners "slow bitch bastards".
Kidding aside, this is essentially click bait. Sure, to some wealthy people out there we Corvette owners are probably considered losers. Just like the guy that owns Veyron GS thinks the guy with a 458 Italia is a loser.
I suppose at least I'm not in a 3rd world country eating trash and homeless while I rot from Ebola. I'm just some chump who drives a Corvette because I can't afford a Porsche or Ferrari. Still not bad.

You realize that that emoticon is usually reserved for insults, but if you don't understand what you are insulting it doesn't work. Allow me to explain:

Wonder where I fit in the stereo type?
Bought a '77 Corvette when I was 23, and have had nothing but Camaros and Corvettes for 40 years.
Guess I never grew up, so I skipped the mid-life crisis.
Try this link The others don't seem to get you there.

It's not far off. I don't associate with local corvette owners for most of the reasons in the article. I'm in the 30yr demographics that beat the snot out of the car as intended, they don't associate with me for that reason too. :P

One of the stupidest articles I have ever read, actually embarrassed I took the time to read it.
Reeks of jealousy by some little pustule.

C'mon people. This is probably written by a high school kid based on the spelling and grammar. Its actually pretty harmless, even kind of funny, but please don't take it seriously at all. For fun, read some of the other cars listed (there's only 6).
Now I know the BMW M3 is apparently mostly owned by teenage boys in LA who got it from their rich parents, the Volkswagen Jetta is mostly owned by hot teenage girls, the Mazda Miata is mostly owned by women in a midlife crisis or gay men while the Corvette is bought by men in midlife crisis, and the Mercedes S class is driven by really rich old people or limo drivers. Finally, the Toyota Prius is hard to stereotype
Interesting selection of vehicles . . . unless you are in high school. I'd say all the demographics are covered, with an emphasis on 16 year olds. Although I'd give this kid a C in English 101, I'm encouraged any high school kid can list 6 different kinds of cars instead of 6 kinds of cellular phones.

Just to bring some reality to this subject. I have lived most of my 69 years in L.A., the car capital of the planet. I have owned 11 Vettes (currently a '16 Z51 convertible), Porsches, Ferraris, you name it. I have in the past and still do hang out and go on runs and to car shows with many exotic car owners. I went on runs with them in my mini cooper, Ferrari, Vettes, Porsches, and so on. With the exception of one person who has a reputation of being a total jerk, I have NEVER heard anyone trash talk any other car. Everyone appreciates cars, no matter what the brand, the cost, or whom is driving them. I get the same respect in my C7 as I did in my F430 Spider.
