I think the silver painted wheels pop just enough where chrome is too much.
agree ... chrome looks good in the bathroom actually I really like my base painted wheels on 2016 ..

Another forum member had posted her 14 silver vert with painted silver wheels then with the chrome wheels. The difference was dramatic because the painted wheels blended with the car as compared to the chrome that contrasted against the silver. I have painted silver on Cyber Gray and like it. But on silver, a color I seriously considered buying, I would want chrome. I'm not into the blackout look, but it actually looks better on silver than painted silver wheels IMHO.

I wanted the machined wheels, but found this one in the area, and saved about 8k.

This was my first choice as a build.
Try to get to a dealer with the largest inventory available, just to get a good look at all the possibilities.

I debated on this as well and decided the painted Z51 wheels looked the best to me with BS. I prefer the chrome on virtually all the other colors particularly dark colors.

I think a painted or powder coated gunmetal would also look good with BS like this one

My current c6 is silver with chrome wheels. I like the looks and design of both of the silver painted and chrome wheels included with the z51 package.

What are your thoughts both pros and cons of each choice?

I debated on chrome or silver but got the silver because the wheel could be repaired a lot easier than chrome if I scraped the rim.

Chrome all the way!! My chrome wheels are much better at rejecting dust than the polished wheels on my C5 or the painted wheels on my Silverado. I dust my chrome every few days with a soft bristled paint brush and they clean up just as new. I would not have any wheels that were not chrome!!

BS with black machined-faced wheels and black accents is definitely the best of both worlds.

Silver looks the best out of the 2 choices and that is coming from a black wheel guy.

Highly Polished MotorSport wheels, part of the Twilight Blue Design Package. This can be ordered separately. There are a few threads on the Forum that will lead you to a good price.

BTW, I had chrome on my 2013 Grand Sport, Night Race Blue metallic. I like these better

silver painted aluminum wheels just look dead, go chrome . To bad a polished aluminum clear coated wheel isn't available.

My C7 is blade silver with chrome factory wheel. Beautiful combination and the chrome withstands a lot of punishment. I also had the chrome wheels on my 2001 and after 13 years there was nary a blemish. My personal opinion is that the silver wheels don't compliment the blade silver as much as one might think.
