I picked up my C7 coupe on 12/ 26 /16, manufacture date on the door is 11/15. It has just over 200 miles on it now.
There's a wind noise
coming from somewhere near the top of the window just above my left ear where the corner of the window and the roof come together. It starts becoming pronounced over 50 miles an hour.
Anyone else experienced this noise, have any ideas, or solutions.
I have tried reseating the top, and of course rolled the windows up and down a few times, but the noise is still there.
Thanks Dave
Maybe a door seal isn't doing its job. Take masking tape and apply to the suspected area and see if it goes away. Then take it to your dealer with the information/solution.
Same issue on my 16. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't figure it out. They said they drove a couple of other c7s and they had the wind noise as well.

This a very good idea. Could be your window is not adjusted correctly or the roof latch is not doing its job. If you put the tape from the roof latch area on your headliner to the end of the windshield you might be able to determine which is causing your problem. Might take 2 pieces thick.
Had the same issue, the tech said its normal and every corvette does it. Went back home and found the rubber gasket around the door was bent inward, I took it out but the molding was off. I told them to replace it the next time I took it in and the sound went away.
I can take a picture of what I am talking about tomorrow and upload it here. But there should not be any noise coming through the windows. If they say this is normal they are not telling the truth or they are just not looking hard enough to solve the issue.
I had this exact issue on my 2016 Z51. The noise became pronounced at highway speeds and it was particularly annoying because it was right in my left ear.
On inspection of the door seals I noticed that on the driver's side the rubber gasket was a bit misshapen. This was obvious once I compared it to the same gasket on the passenger side. This entire piece wraps around the body just behind the driver-side window.
As a test, I used some adhesive putty to hold the seal in approximately the same position as the seal on my passenger-side door and the noise went away completely.
The dealer the entire rubber piece and I haven't heard it since.
