Just watched the press conference. Available in March sounds like a nice option for you Northern Owners. Wonder if it will become a factory option.

That question came up last April and Harland said they only people buying all season tires were GM engineers doing testing....I think they would find that to be much more different now

Run Flats?
Any hint of introducing an All Season runflat for Z51 owners?

Will be very popular if available as a factory option.

Prediction: RF not mentioned, it's just an upgrade to the current tire that's not a RF.

From the press release:
Either the writer of the press release doesn't know anything about racing, or no one proofread this before release.

Nice option to have but wonder what kind of price will be put on tires that will fit a Corvette?

The MICHELIN Pilot Sport A/S3+ combines a unique tread design with enhanced compound technology to provide excellent snow traction and incredible wet and dry braking:
Excellent Snow traction? With all seasons?
So will there be a version of this (even non runflat) for the Z51? In the Pacific Northwest I would totally choose that instead of a set for summer and a separate set for winter.

The odd thing is the current A/S 3 was supposed to be offered in a Run Flat this Spring

Good to hear. Tadge did confirm this at the NCM Bash last year. Is this a run flat?

i just talked to Michelin on the telefun, and, the person said basically that any of their summer-only tires should not be stored under 20 degrees, which happens at least once per winter in a normal garage, even in Texas.
I think i recall others members stating that you should not move the car, but sitting/storing the car would be ok? Is it me, or, is it that their disclaimers, messaging, and/or, their marketing is just a bit muddy? BTW, I pulled up the "important tire and wheel information", from the link in the bottom pic, which mentioned nothing about ambient temperature.

One day a month will not cause stored tires to deteriorate...it would take extremely long term storage at low consistent temperatures. Having said that its time Michelin steps up and makes the A/S RF tires so many Z51 owners need and want.

Melting Slicks
Never seen my garage below mid-50's, even on the coldest days here. If you are dipping into the 20's in a connected garage, you should look at some insulation.
