Default C7 and watch pairing

So - what kind of watch compliments your C7?

I'd have to think Corvette guys who obviously like the finer things in life also enjoy a nice timepiece.

What on your wrist while driving?

Well since you asked, it is a 1987 Rolex Datejust stainless with the tapestry dial. My wife bought it for me to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary 29 years ago. I still wear it today and it hasn't ever skipped a beat.

It's a samsung Gear S2 Classic, with my own custom made Corvette watch face, in Yellow, to match the car :-)

For anyone who also has a Gear S2, I shared this in a bunch of different colors on MrTimemaker.com for free download.

Who wears a watch?

Cell phone usage has made watches into pretentious pieces of bling.

So because a Prius serves the same purpose as a Corvette, I suppose that would fall into the same category, no?

Not everyone owns a cell phone. I don't. I have no interest in them. Therefore, I wear a watch. Today I wore my self-winding Cartier Tank Francaise. Understated stainless steel, square face, Roman numerals. Everybody is different, and that's okay!

It's funny how on automotive forum there are those who see a 100K car as logical but a 10K watch is a foolish waste of money and on a watch forum there are so many who believe 10K for a watch is sensible but spending over 5K for an automobile is a waste of money.

I don't feel so bad for spending $350 on a watch now

I wear an Apple Watch. It allows me to text while speeding.
