What is the tread depth on Mich SS tires? I recently aquired a 2016 Z51 with 700 miles on the odo and it ha 8/32" tread on all four tires. How does this compare to a new tire?

I've found that mfr. specs don't always translate into reality. I've changed quite a few motorcycle and car tires over the years and I've found that all of them that I've checked metered about 0.5/32" less than the spec. The C7 was no exception and when new it measured 8.5/32" front and 9/32" rear. Accuracy of the $2 gauge I use checks out with a ruler.
