ACS splash guards

installed the ACS splash guards on my new GS on day one,only have about 700 miles on her so far but i was checking yesterday for any marks on the body and haven't found a one

Thanks! I wish I knew this before driving 600 miles, but now I have to get over the chips on the side of my car. By the way, your car looks great.

Just to be clear you need the skirts also if your ordered an aero level without skirts. My 2016 Z06 received the ACS parts before I took delivery at the museum and although I don't like the sound of pebbles hitting the underside of the skirts it is far better than having it hit the body.
You still have to be careful with these ultra sticky tires because when turning they will still toss rocks outside of the zone covered by the guards and skirts. A couple of weeks ago I was going very slowly through a newly opened interstate exit ramp and I watched a rock flung up by the front passenger tire head for the passenger seat (targa top was off). I did catch it before it landed

Installed ACS last week.....look good and I know they will work.
About 5/8" wider and perhaps 3/4" longer than the so called GM aftermarket
wide ones.

Get the ACS front splashguards. They look good and fit excellent with side skirts, if you don't have side skirts get them right away also. We also did expel on the car, it's a little unnerving hearing garbage hit the bottom of the skirts and splashguards but its better than flinging directly on the paint.

to be honest, i don t care for the look of the skirts.

Understood, if your looking to stop debris from tearing up the rocker and intake in front of the rear wheel then definitely get Expel installed on all those lower parts. Without Expel or side skirts car will get many rock chips and look sandblasted in a small amount of time. Have seen a few used Z06 without skirts, Expel or splashguards with low miles that need paintwork.

Has anyone replaced the vents yet due to rock damage? Reason for asking is because I need this done. I got ran off the road and had to do a little shoulder driving in the stone at 50mph and of course I have no skirts or splash guards!

Putting skirts and splash guards on my Z06 was $100 as part of PDI; email Shane at the museum and he will set it up for you and give you the exact cost depending upon which parts you are having installed. The parts need to be there well prior to delivery and the museum has storage space to accommodate customer parts. I had ACS ship mine directly to the museum which is common practice for them.

I read on the forum where a member (can't find the post now) bought these splash guards and the instructions said that grinding was necessary for a proper fit. Can anyone who installed them on a 16 Z06 confirm this? Or does anyone know anything about this?

I installed these on my 2016 z06 and grinding was not necessary. They don't protect the rear quarters 100% but they do look natural. I had to install a wrap to protect the rear 100%

I know the front ACS splash guards provide more coverage/protection than the GM front splash guards, however do the rear ACS splash guards also provide more coverage than the GM rear splash guards?
