Default What's the typical time spent in "bayed" status?

My new C7 has been there since the 14th. Is this normal? I'm a little frustrated since I only live a few hours from Bowling Green.

I was bayed for 2 days on my 2014 Z51 and 1 on my 2016 Z06.

I don't know if there is a "typical" time spent at that event code.

I think there is no norm. It all depends when they have enough for a truckload going in your direction. In the past I have had a Corvette roll off the Assembly Line on Monday and then be delivered to the Dealership on Friday of that same week. I have also had several weeks go by. Good Luck as we all understand your frustration ...

The trucking company has to get a full load for your general area. You might give the trucking company a call and talk to their dispatcher.

Here's a very recent example earlier this week, as my TPW was on 1/25/16!

1/25/16: Status 3400 - Order Broadcast
1/26/16: Status 3800 - Vehicle Produced
1/27/16: Status 4B00 - Bayed
1/29/16: Status 4200 - Vehicle Shipped

My new vette was only "Bayed" for 2 days. I received an email this morning letting me know that I am at Status 4200 - Vehicle Shipped!

So it took 2 days for me to go from 4B00 (Bayed) to 4200 (Shipped)

My vehicle is coming to CA for a Courtesy Delivery.

Mine was built yesterday and will arrive at the dealership next Monday or Tuesday.

Mine was built on Monday, or possibly Tuesday and "Bayed" for 2 days. Shipped yesterday (Thursday): 4200
Could have arrived today, but the truck had mechanical problems. Should arrive Monday or Tuesday to NJ.

I'm picking it up on Thursday.

Mine was bayed for one day. As someone else mentioned, a lot depends on having a full transport load going your way.

Today would have been a great day to take delivery in southern Indiana. It's sunny and 65.....and I can't help but think that it's just a few hours south of me sitting there waiting....and waiting...and waiting.

It is like you are a kid again. My wait seemed like forever. Now, I have had my 14 for 2 1/2 years. This too will pass.
