I agree with you on the GLOSS finish. I picked up my “17 the beginning of May with the factory Carbon Fiber Matte finish. I love it.

I think the problem here is that people overdo it an carbon fiber everything, which is gaudy. If you keep it down to a dull roar it can look quite nice.
