Does your engine overheat? If so get it fixed under warranty. If not what's the problem you're trying to fix?

A lot of the engine compartment "heat" comes from the radiator and the C7 compared to earlier Vettes has a large vent that takes 1/3 of that out on the hood! Probably more like 1/2 since the hottest cooling fluid is on the radiator top.
As my old boss would say, "Your solving a problem not know to exist with a method known not to work!"
Unless you have wind tunnel, I'd suggest seat of the paints adding louvers, scoops etc IMO may be counter productive!
In addition the intake air, which should be as cool as possible, comes from outside the right front fender. Assume GM picked a high pressure cool spot.
Just a thought, but rather than mess with the carefully designed high speed aerodynamics get a set of long tube headers and warp with insulation which would be effective in reducing engine compartment heat (for whatever reason) and will increase power.

Call LG Motorsports they have a lager capacity rad for the C7. More important they test these items racing.

But if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If your car is running at normal temps, a bigger radiator won't accomplish anything.

remove the plastic coverings in the engine bay - they are there for looks and can hold and retain heat. Drove my car on track in Florida summer without any issues.
