Default Totally impressed and in love with my 2016 Corvette

Not much to say but "I am totally impressed and in love with my 2016 Corvette Stingray". I am not that rich so I settled for the basic Stingray with the LT2 package, spoiler, and PDR/Nav unit. It has exceeded ALL my expectations. It is such a blast to drive and watch people pull up next to you with thumbs up signs and smiles. What a fantastic car. I have not had a problem. It is solid and loads of fun to drive. I hadn't driven one before I purchased it but am very happy with the seats, design, performance and everything. For many people it is not out of their reach money wise. The car was about $67,000 but I got it (with extended warranty) for $58,000 from McMulkin. What a deal. Just want to save GM/Chevrolet has made the best Corvette/sports car for the money. If you are on the bubble for buying one, check it out. And don't forget that GM picks up over half the tap of the Spring Mountain Driving School which is a fantastic deal. ENJOY!!!!

I have had mine for over 6 months and NO PROBLEMS. Every day I love it more. Kind of like my wife of almost 45 years. She was so supported and I think she enjoys watching people looking at my Laguna Blue beauty. The first two weeks we were unsure we made the right decision but after that it was a 10.

i too bought a 2016 Stingray. For the last 3 months it sat in my garage
waiting for Spring. Spring arrived today and so did the snow! Guess I will have to wait a little longer!!

I was looking at that to. On a model without a lot of options, like I also have, the dealers on the forum were all about 8% under msrp. And that was about 1% under invoice. They make $1,200 total profit. Which is fine, as they are in business to make a profit.

You know.. I've been curious for a while.

I understand that invoice is about 7.5% off MSRP. Now I heard that there is "invoice" and "actual dealer cost" which is even lower. Does anyone know what that cost is? Is it invoice less holdback and other incentives?

Wondering how dealers are able to sell at 11-13% off if in doing so they won't make any money (since they're selling to us "at cost" or even less)

Hey Bill, congrats on a great new C7!! We love our '15 too. Finally got it out of winter hibernation this weekend. Wifey and I went for a cruise today. She loves it too - maybe not as much as me, but she's into it.
