1080 3M wrap
Im new to the site even thought I have owned 7 Corvettes B.T.W. this C7 is the best vette I have ever had , I wrapped the roof , did the stripes all for 100.00 worth of material and my time of course , I like to work on my cars I was not that difficult just patience and a blow dryer, I know the stripes are expensive if you buy them from Corvette stores, with the new tape with the line that cuts the wrap the job looks professional at a fraction of the cost , here in Miami they wanted 900.00 to do my roof and stripes, I bought the wrap from Fellers for 100.00 just like to show off my work, I also painted the wheels, front and rear spoilers in carbon flash and took of the Corvette hood and hatch emblem and painted them carbon flash instead of buying them painted and I wrapped the lights partially, again not that hard.

Between the roof and the stripes it was 8 hours , I'm no expert that's why it took so long but it's perfect even up close, thanks for your compliments.

Wow, you did a really nice job. In addition to the stripes did you also do the roof, "B" pillars and the rear hatch lid?
It would be helpful if you could provide some additional details. I assume you used 3M 1080 wrap but what color did you use? Can't really tell from the pictures.
What sizes and quantity of wrap did you purchase and what installation tools did you need to buy? Were there installation instructions on Feller's website? Did you work with anybody in particular there or just order online?
As you may have guessed, I'm thinking about doing some wrap work myself so any additional feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

No problem at all the roof is the clear dark blue looks black so I did not do that , the pillar and back and the lines i did, you will need about 4 yards, 3M 1080 gloss black you need to buy cutting tape for wrap, its is simply amazing , just lay down the lines apply the wrap over it and simply remove the thread from the line and it cuts the wrap like a knife
thats how i did the stripes , lay down the lines where you want the stripes then just simply add the wrap over the lines and once all the air is out of the wrap find the thread in the lines and as you remove the thread it cuts the wrap perfectly, any other questions let me know, the lines will be easier than the roof because they are mostly flat. Will

strips
I also like your strips. I have a red vert I would like to put the strips one. Where did you buy them. I did some years ago on a 65 ss, and may try again, after seeing yours. Nice work!!

Did you remove the emblems?
I just watched a video this week on the Vinyl/Wrap being cut with tape. I'd much rather lay the stripes out with the cut tape than cut the stripes and try to get them into the correct position.
I want Silver stripes on my white Coupe.
You did an excellent job.

[QUOTE=Fastoldguy;1591826035]Did you remove the emblems?
I guarantee you this is the easiest way, look at the pics and you will see just lay down the lines and put the wrap over the lines if it overlaps no problem then just get the string on the lines and pull, perfect cut, I bought the stripes for my Viper not easy very expensive , messed up and the 429.00 for the went down the drain, here you mess up just cut another piece of 1080 and continue, and yes I did remove the emblems and painted them myself very easy just get a blow dryer and heat up the emblem get some fish line and start passing it behind the emblem until it cuts all the tape behind it.
