Default No Smoking by C7 (not F-22 or F-35)

Last weekend at the Macdill AFB Air Show in Tampa, some Civil Air Patrol kids were putting out “NO SMOKING” signs, so they put one next to my car, but none by the F-22 and F-35 parked nearby me. I wonder what they were thinking?

Later someone moved the sign closer to the aircraft:

On Saturday, some severe weather come through and delayed the show, so I got to put the car in the Thunderbirds temporary hanger with the F-35, six Geico Skytyper SNJ-2's and Thunderbirds #1 F-16, for protection until the storm passed:

I was stationed at Macdill back in the day. They had an air show while I was there. It was the
Blue Angels.I happened to fuel one of them.Back then they were F4's.This was getting near the end of the Vietnam War.Anyway nice car.

So awesome looking!! I am looking forward to seeing the USAF Thunderbirds in Fort Lauderdale air show May7-8!! Going to be North American civilian air show debut for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter. And it will be flying along side a P-51 Mustang!!
riding my bike and not driving my C7 is the only downside

That you might want to try a burnout?

Later someone moved the sign closer to the aircraft:

Your car is getting more attention than the jets!

Yep. That was a bad storm. Glad they let you put the car inside.

I served 27 years in the USAF and admire what you are doing.

The kids new what they were doing.
Every time I see photos of your car I wonder if I like it...and after a moment of refection...it's a big yes, I do.
Cool that you offer that kind of support.

I do a lot of work over at MacDill AFB with my business and I go to the show every year. Unfortunately I missed this years show as it was the same weekend as the NHRA Gator Nationals....

I was stationed at Nellis AFB many moons ago. Home of the Thunderbirds. Is their home still at Nellis?

Great pics, OP.

I bet you hooked several young kids on Corvettes. You're helping to ensure they grow up to be future Corvette owners.

Seeing a thunderbird F16 near an F35 fatbody makes me puke a little in my mouth. Sad times...

Nice photos and being next to some amazing machines only makes the C7's design look even better!

Gen 4 fighters FTW!

I remember reading Dale Brown books...namely "Day of the Cheetah". I couldn't help but feel a slight tinge of similarity when Israel stated they wanted an advanced F15, versus the F35. There is still hope of a forward canard, thrust vectored F15!

I used to watch this one when I was stationed at Edwards...
