Police pull over Jon Jones in his Vette, 5 tickets.
Jones Jones is now in jail for what the judge decided was a breach of probation. He receives 5 tickets here....one for his exhaust volume even. Looks like he's running a modded stage 1 Z06. You see the clear taillight lenses at 3:35 . I wonder how he did in that race? Car sounds good

Jones is free to go with stipulations added to his probation > anger management/driver improvement courses + 60 hours of community service within 3 months. Jones must get approval from his probation officer every time he wants to drive. Judge Martinez told Jones that if he's back in that court before the end of his probation, "it won't go well". This puts Jones in the clear for his light heavyweight title fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 on April 23 in Las Vegas. Jones had been in custody since Tuesday morning.

Jon Jones is free to go home with stipulations added to his probation.
The UFC star admitted to a probation violation at his hearing in New Mexico Second Judicial District Court on Thursday and had new provisions added to his existing probation. Jones agreed to attend anger management and driver improvement courses as well as do 60 more hours of community service within three months.
Judge Michael E. Martinez added that Jones must get approval from his probation officer every time he wants to drive. Martinez told Jones at the conclusion of the hearing that if he is back in that court before the end of his probation, "it won't go well" for him.
The Bernalillo County District Attorney's office wanted the judge to impose a nightly curfew on Jones from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., but Martinez declined that provision. That was the only added condition of probation that Jones' team fought.
Thursday's news should put Jones in the clear for his light heavyweight title fight against Daniel Cormier at UFC 197 on April 23 in Las Vegas. Jones had been in custody at the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Detention Center since Tuesday morning.

Such a talented fighter but also what a moron. Daniel Cormier is not my favorite fighter but I hope he beats "Bones" this time.

Good thing he wasn't driving a Bentley. He would have crashed it into a light pole with an underaged girl in the car.
Or he could have ran into a pregnant lady and ditched the scene with drugs in his possession.
This guy is a no-good thug. A spoiled brat, ahole who thinks he should be above the law. I seriously hate this guys attitude.

Thats the kind of police officer I cant stand. Asking him questions to try and bait him into admitting guilt on multiple things. "Why is your car so loud"..."Why you drag racing that Cadillac"...

Whether he was drag racing or not, taking off and accelerating faster than is normal for the situation, is called demonstration of speed and exhibition driving, and is illegal even if you don't break the speed limit.
Given he's driving a Z06, a "demonstration of speed" is hard to actually be guilty of unless he peeled out, given the car under normal throttle will accelerate faster than other cars unless you drive it like a granny.

the guy is worth an estimated 10 million.
a lot of people do wild and foolish things when they are young. he got 18 months probation for a felony hit and run last year.
who here, if you were in his situation and worth 10 million would not hire a full time driver to take you wherever and whenever you wanted to go in whichever of your vehicles you chose? if you felt the need to drive yourself during this time, hire an empty racetrack a few times a month off public hiways to speed and drive however you wanted. by doing that, he would get through his 18 months of probation looking innocent as a lamb, never having any reason to ever talk to any policemen because he would never drive on public roads. so simple.

If u in a Vette it is assumed u guilty esp if you had been guilty once before.
Police might have been bateing him but bad words to a LEO don't get you far.
Right or wrong at that moment he is the law... And can convict you of anything.

Interesting video, I just wonder why the police released it for public viewing.

I've been pulled over by cops who were OK and professional, and cops who are arrogant.
But, look, you get pulled over by a guy with a gun and the legal right to restrain you by force, you keep your hands on the wheel and say "yes sir" and "no sir".
Jones was visibly impaired... maybe they can't test for Oxycodin with a breathalyzer, but that guy was slurring his words, and rambling incoherently.
I've never found calling a cop a "disgusting pig" is going to buy you any good will.

UFC Pound for Pound #1, come on, when pulled over, right or wrong, always be respectful of the law! Especially on camera, when on probation! Recently Jones commented, that this is the first time he has been sober for 6 months, since he was 10 yrs old!

How this guy did not go to jail is beyond me. He is visibly impaired. He was not drinking with the interlock but he was high off his *** on something. If I'm the LEO I'd have trouble sleeping knowing I let him drive home.
I have had a number of tickets in my life and I deserved all of them. Many times I've been pulled over and let go with a warning. Most other times I get it reduced to a no points offense like "failing to yeild to a traffic device". I have had some really BIG speeding tickets reduced. I believe it's because I know when I'm wrong and I admit it. I apologize for taking the LEOS time. I keep my hands in view at all times. You'd be surprised how well that is received by the majority of LEO's. There is always some bad apples and I just let them do their superiority trip and move on. Arguing with a LEO can only make things worse. You're not going to change their mind by being a dou*he.
