Lift Points vs. Jack Stand Points
I understand where the proper lift points are on the C7(Z). However, where are the best places to place the jack stands once the car is lifted? I plan to have the wheels powder coated so the car will need to rest on jack stands for 7-10 days.
I plan to use four, 3-ton aluminum racing jack stands with the typical claw-like contact point.
Thanks!

The green spots are jacking points, I use the 2 rear inner points and front inner points, hope this helps

^^I do exactly the same. I always jack from the permanent mounted jacking pucks under the rockers and jack stand like VETJAZZ. Can get a whole side up and on the stands with a single lift.

If you have a low profile Jack you can actually lift the car up by the front of the k member and put the Jack stands on the points noted above. 1 lifting point to get the front off the ground.

Thanks. So you lift from the side using either the front or rear rocker jacking points, lift both front and rear wheels off the ground, slide the wood braces and two jacks stands under the cross beams, lower the jack and then repeat on the other side?

Yes, but it's easier if you use jack stands with padded ends. Using the 2x4's for protection, I jacked both front and back on both sides.
