Is there a video on how to get the mirror off in the first place?

Pop off the black plastic cover on the neck of the mirror that faces the windshield. Pull apart the connector. Insert a long thin screwdriver thru the two holes cast in the black metal part of the neck, and rotate the screwdriver counterclockwise and the mirror will pop out of its mount.

Do you still have that mirror maybe.. non auto dimming for C7 corvette (frameless)? I would need one extra if it is the right mirror.

Thank you in advance

Unfortunately, there is no way to disable this " feature" short of covering the sensor.

I posted upthread exactly where this sensor is.

Does replacing the auto-dimming mirror with a self-dimming mirror disable the side mirror also? Anyone have a part number for a self-dimming mirror. I have 5 % tint and the mirror auti-dims even when there are no cars behind me. I cant see anything at all out the back.

Yes, if you replace the autodim mirror with a manual dimming mirror, the side mirror autodimming will be disabled.
You can also just unplug your mirror to disable the autodim function, but you will also disable the onstar buttons and lights.

The sensor is in the RV Mirror, so yes, it does disable the side mirror.

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to know the part number for a self-dimming mirror?
Also, do you know if its a straight swap from auto to self?

I will sell you my perfect condition manual self dimming mirror I removed from my 2017 1LT, $50 plus shipping to your zip code. Send me a PM message.

Straight forward swap:
1) Pry off the black plastic cover on the mirror "neck", the side of the cover facing the windshield.
2) Unplug the connector.
3) Stick a slim screwdriver handle thru the two square holes of the metal neck of the mirror.
4) Using the screwdriver, rotate the mirror 90 degrees counter-clockwise, and then the mirror will pop out of its mount.
5) Install the new mirror, held at 90 degrees (to its normal installed postion), push up and rotate the screwdriver clockwise 90 degrees till the mirror locks into place.
6) Connect the connector.
7) Snap on the black plastic neck cover.
