Yes- drivers side is usually most affected due to the load transfer of the driveshaft rotational direction.

The tech recorded the sound using a Pico device and played it for a GM tech, who diagnosed it right away and said it was a rare but known issue. They replaced the differential and the sound went away. The issue does not affect performance; it just makes a sound, which is annoying and not normal. Hope this helps.
RARE!!! Now that's rich!

I had the sound since new on a 2017 base. After leaving with the dealer and told them I didn't want the car back until fixed. It now has a new differential and no more sound!

Good for you, glad they fixed your car. Isn't it nice to not have a car make that sound. Cheers

I'm betting the noise you were hearing was NOT the WARBLE as the Z51 has a different differential than the base Stingray. Not aware of anyone with Z51, GS or Z06 having the warble as they have the eDiff. I've been party to this since day 1, even 3 months before this thread started....
