Checking in guys hoping your new yr. is all good. Hope you guys with the Warble are getting them fixed and enjoying your awesome car. Not much chatter or posts on the warble so that is a good thing. Take care

Go with them and do the driving because if you are like me I knew just how to feather the gas petal to get the car to warble. Good luck let us know how it goes.

My Corvette is at the dealer getting its second rear-end for the warble. Hopefully this will finally do it.

Actually mine has a growling when going from V4 to V8. Bay Area dealers have given up. GM is buying back my Z07.

The warble should occur at 1500 RPM irregardless of what gear you're in. Most likely will occur on a slight incline in 8th gear at about 75 MPH. Find a place where your car will warble and does so consistently. Then go to the dealer and insist that YOU drive the car. There's too many mechanics out there that do not want to do the work and, "Just can't hear a thing." or "That's normal". The warble is caused by a problem with shims in the diff causing a misalignment with the ring and pinion. I don't think GM figured it out until fairly recently and that's why some folks are having to replace more than one diff. Have your dealer call the Technical Assistance Center for more info and insure that he does. Document everything. GM is only the problem here to the extent that they couldn't get this mess figured out. In my experience communicating with people about it, the dealers are the real PITA.

That probably is not the warble but rather a torque converter problem.

Mine has been doing fine, but on occasions I think I can hear it a little. I don't know if that's just me expecting the warble, or it's really there. At this point I feel it would be a fruitless endeavor to take her to the dealer. I have an extended warranty, so I guess I'm gonna just drive the car until the warble visits again.

My thoughts as well. Have taken it to the dealer twice to have the sound diagnosed. I can only hear it occasionally and only when the audio is off, windows up and HVAC turned off. It is not a big issue and with my 7 yr warranty I am not worried as I will trade or sell before warranty expires. I have decided to just enjoy the car and not sweat the little issues. If my rear diff explodes GM can do whatever it takes to fix it.

Mine does the same. I believe in my research here I have narrowed it down to needing an HD belt and possibly a new belt tensioner as well. Sorry about your Z07.

I know very few (if any) Z06s had the warble. I really believe mine did as it matched all the symptoms (specific RPMs, specific sound etc.). In the past 10k miles I have had new and different tires (Pirelli runflats) put on and have had the torque converter issue looked at with the current solution being a triple flush. I am not noticing the warble anymore, not sure if it is related to any of the changes however (but I'll take it LOL).

Arctic C7 what was the outcome of your last visit you wrote about on April 15, 2016? Did you get it all resolved? I have the same noise, "Tweety bird" I call it. I have a 2014 A6, which I bought used. I am trying to understand what is the real problem here and then will go to the Range Disabler.

Sir, to my knowledge the 14 did not have the differential WARBLE, it is exclusive to the A8 base stingray. Your A6 did not have this WARBLE issue from all I have read so you may be wasting your money on the Ranger Disabler. Good luck finding your issue.

Default Misery Loves Company

Our tweety 'noise' is at 46-48 mph 2014 A6 base suspension convertible. Harmonic related since it shows up at 46 and goes away at 50. Like having no hair, I've learned to live with it. And so it goes.
