2014 Corvette C7 Water Dripping/Hissing Underneath After 2.5 Hour Roadtrip. Normal?
Hey All,
So I just bought a 2014 Corvette C7, and I just got back from a 2.5 hours long road trip. I heard a hissing noise coming from under the car and saw this, so I recorded a video. Is this normal condensation from the the AC unit or do I have a coolant leak? It appears to be water dripping as best I can tell.

AC Condensation
Probably the AC condensation. Looks clear in the video. Coolant would have orange tint.
Many cars do this on humid days. I wouldn't worry.
I like to dry out the AC by pushing the AC button. The screen will show fan is ON, AC Off.
I do this 5 minutes before destination. This avoids getting that mildew smell.
Best wishes

I'm no expert but my car on hot days definitely has had some AC condensation dripping that would "sizzle" if the asphalt was hot enough so it could be that.
However, I won't disregard any leaks. Best thing to do is measure your fluids after every drive to see if everything is normal if you suspect a leak and go from there.
Maybe go for a drive without using the AC and see if you still have any dripping?

I would bet that it is the condensation from your A/C system, like the others said. Perfectly normal.
