Turning off TC and Stabilitrak

Turning off TC and Stabilitrak
When I first got my car (M7) I recall pressing the center of the drive mode selector/button two times relatively quickly to turn off TC and stabilitrak. Now I have to hold down on the button for like 7 seconds or so for the lights to appear on the dash showing me both features are turned off. Anyone else experience a change? How are you guys turning off/disengaging TC and stabilitrak on your manual C7? Are there different levels of TC and stabilitrak or is it off or on only?

No change. Owners Manual:
If you have a Z51 with MSRC, then you have 5 Performance Traction Modes. With the Drive Mode set to Track, you press the TCS/StabiliTrak button twice to enter PTM.
To turn off both traction control
and StabiliTrak, press and hold
the TCS/StabiliTrak button,
until the Traction Off Light
and the StabiliTrak OFF Light
illuminate in the instrument
cluster.
and StabiliTrak, press and hold
the TCS/StabiliTrak button,
until the Traction Off Light
and the StabiliTrak OFF Light
illuminate in the instrument
cluster.

I have the Z51 package, but I don't have the magnetic ride control. The only things I know to do is select the drive mode by turning the **** and turning off/on TC and stabilitrac by pressing the button in the middle of the drive made selector ****.

Without MSRC, you have "Competitive Driving Mode":
Competitive Driving Mode
(Except Z51 with Magnetic
Selective Ride Control)
Competitive Driving Mode allows full
engine power while StabiliTrak
helps maintain directional control of
the vehicle by selective brake
application. In this mode, TCS is off
and Launch Control is available.
Adjust your driving style to account
for the available engine power. See
“Launch Control” later in this
section.
In order to select this optional
handling mode, the vehicle mode
must be Track. Then quickly press
the TCS/StabiliTrak g button on the
center console two times.
COMPETITIVE DRIVING MODE
displays in the Driver Information
Center (DIC).
