Date for 2017 MY pricing to be released?
Anyone know? Did I miss the thread that has this info? Searched and found nothing (did find first ordering weeks tho, which was cool)

There is no hard date yet. However, as suspected based on last year, the order day will come BEFORE the price is released. Those who want to be part of the first batch of 2017s are going in blind pricing wise and just negotiating a % off for discounts.

Ordering has opened before prices were available in the past. Likely to happen again. Another possibility is that prices stay the same initially (won't work for the GS) and then are increased a few weeks later. This has also happened in the past. All conjecture at this point.

Shouldn't be an issue with many dealers as deposits are usually refundable if the price comes in too high for your tastes. I would be surprised to see more than a 5% increase if this much and this could be offset by more standard equipment. I took a chance when ordering my 2016 in April with my car being one of the first 2016s manufactured in June of last year. The flat steering wheel, power pull down latch and front cameras more than made up for the price increase IMHO. Good luck.

I agree, the 17's will be rolling off the assembly line before the prices are made public. In my area we have discussed what we think the new GS will sticker for. No one is in agreement on this as the guesses are all over the place. Of course it all depends on whats standard equipment ...

Count on a price increase, and very little discounting.

There was a small increase price increase 16 > 15, not of MSRP, but of dealer invoice cost for orders placed after a certain date in July, but for orders that were in GM's system prior to the effective date of the increase, prices were honored at the pre-increase price point (whatever that price might really be between GM and dealer).
IIRC, since GM held the pricing to its dealers for orders that were booked, those dealers (MacMulkin and Kerbeck at least) held their pricing to customers as well. I paid pre-increase pricing (MSRP - discount) for my '16 which I took delivery of in late August.
There was a rather lengthy thread about this on here, in mid to late July of 2015 (https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...cally-but.html)
