C7 Owners: What Do You Do For A Living?
Parallel to my age poll of C7 owners, I wish to validate the premise in the Yahoo article below regarding the demographic that GM specifically targeted the C7 toward...

This quote in the piece caught my attention:
I'll start this out....
As I'm a retired Army Master Sergeant and currently a Program Analyst. I suppose that makes me "not blue collar".
With this in mind, the poll options are broad and not specific.
-Blue-Collar
-White-Collar
-Current/Former/Retired Military
-Current/Former/Retired Law Enforcement
I made the poll so that you can choose multiple options for those who happen be former military and current law enforcement or vice versa as is sometimes the case (or even current military and current law enforcement).

With a base price of about $52,000, the Corvette isn’t going to end up in the garages of very many twentysomethings. What GM hopes to do is broaden the appeal of the car beyond the blue-collar, middle-America demographic that forms the Corvette’s core fan base.
The target customer for the C7 is a Porsche 911 buyer, along with people who might buy a Porsche Cayman, an Audi TT or R8, a BMW Z4 or 6 series coupe, or a Mercedes SLK or AMG coupe.
Such buyers aren’t exactly whippersnappers. The median age of a Porsche 911 and Mercedes SLK owner is 59, according to Strategic Vision; for the Audi TT it’s 57; for the BMW Z4, 56. But the import buyers GM is aiming for tend to be wealthier, more professional, more urban and more influential than Corvette owners, a challenge GM faces in many segments of its product lineup.

Retired blue collar. No college and I worked as a union pipefitter/ welder till I was financially able to take early retirement and then to kill some time waiting for the MRS to retire I drove a CDL large size delivery truck carrying building supplies. Early retirement from my union was at 55 rather than 62 as I had so much OT that I left at a very good pension! Now totally retired for close to 15 years and live on a nice lake!
PS to be perfectly clear as I know unions are hated here by many let me say I was in a buildings trades union and there are many other type unions and union people I have no use for either! ( I have said this before on here)
