New Z51 wheel design for 2017 model?
We should know the answer to this next week during the Bash, but really curious if the Z51 wheel design will change for the 2017 model?
It would be strange for the 2017 to continue with what's on the 2014, 2015, and 2016 Z51. It is an excellent wheel design that has held up well- although just about every single car make/model now offers a somewhat similar split 5 spoke design, so not as original as it was back in 2014.
I've thought about upgrading my base rims when my tires wear out, but would hate to buy the current style on eBay when something new could soon be on the horizon.
The base wheel was around for 2 model years- 2014 and 2015.
So my guess is the current base wheel design will be around next year for 2017, and then changed in 2018.
It's known that Grand Sport will have an exclusive wheel design, but these won't fit on base and Z51 models due to the width.
