Default [NEW] C7 Z06 Widebody kit - Monaco Auto Design

Hello Corvette Forum! Brian here, from Monaco Auto Design. I just finished up these renderings as an exercise to design a widebody for the already-wide C7 Z06 and wanted to share it with the community. The goal here was to create something wild and a big exaggerated, but still respecting the design language of the factory design. As you can see, theres extensive carbon fiber work with additional bracing around the front radiator support. All vents have been opened up for even more airflow, and the rear diffuser will be sure to allow any hot air to escape with ease. Although it may not be for everyone's taste and is mostly a cosmetic exercise, its always fun to stretch the possibilities of any design and create something outside the box. We do not produce our designs currently, but we are always looking to gauge interest in the production of our ideas. At the very least, I hope these renderings will be a nice new desktop image for your computers!

If you'd like more information about what we do, feel free to visit our website at www.monacoautodesign.com, or check out our intro thread here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...to-design.html

Happy Sunday, everyone!

With the exception of the rods holding the front splitter on the fascia, I think the design is great. I'm just not a fan of how the rods look on there even though they do serve a purpose.

How does having the front tires exposed affect the aerodynamics? Seems like you would get a lot of variation in air flow depending on the orientation of the tires.

I like it. Not too sure about all of those attachment/support rods... and the exposed fasteners, but otherwise- not bad

I plan to work on a side angle, perhaps even a front and rear 3/4 angle shot of this. Stay tuned!

Absolutely. I understand that the design is not for everyone, but hopefully we can all look at it as a fun and simple artistic exercise. I have some more simple projects in the works, and I'll be sure to post them soon!
