I wasn't going to buy one until I saw those red paddle shifters, WOW those sealed the deal. " Resale Red" Just kidding. I guess GM felt a lot of C-7 owners are having a hard time seeing the paddle shifters.

One team member told me that was a 3LT GS, akin to a production model. Another team member later told me to disregard the car entirely because it was a test car and options/features may not be consistent with production GS cars. The first member told me those were the exact ground effects/splitter on the base model. The second said the splitter was carbon flash painted on the production base model. No one ever confirmed that for me.
And yes, I dislike the skirts. But dislike them enough to pay $3k for CFZ, that's another question...

However, the carbon flash painted vs. not painted question is one I'd love someone answering. As well as a definitive answer on what exactly comes on a 3LT GS without the CFV/CFZ option and without the Z07 package.

way too busy.

The white stripes and stuff is too busy for me too.
If I got one, I'd just get it like I would have gotten a Z51 - yellow body with the carbon flash badge package, carbon flash spoiler and mirrors, no stripes, no stinger, none of those extra hash mark stickers. The black and yellow contrast would be more than enough (especially if the molded skirts come in Carbon Flash anyway). Wish the rear quarter panel vents had been carbon flash instead of body color though.

I was told by a team member yesterday that they included these new skirts on the base GS and base Z06 because of all the complaints about rock chips on the rear fenders/vents. He didn't seem to think there was any aero advantage vs no skirts at all.
