They are hideous aren't they, this is a Europe style from plate holder, in the UK we can have one more or less the same size as your usa style like the one that comes standard on your cars over there.
I need to buy one

PERFECT photo. Print it and frame it. The colors are fantastic! And I love it that the car is in GB.

Sure wish GM would give us the turn signal repeaters in the mirrors here in the states.

The second thing is, of course, thinking left at all times along with the preponderance of roundabouts. Think left. Think left. Think left. The two are related, but they are separate issues. At least this way he doesn't have to learn how to drive all over again. He just has to keep thinking left, left, left.

There have been years when I have driven more miles in Great Britain than in the US. There are really two things going on when you transition. The first is that you have to learn how to drive all over again. It's that "muscle memory" thing that you don't even think about over here. Then you've got this car with this huge outrigger off to the left (That's how to think through the issue: The outrigger) that if you don't pay attention to, will make you wind up on the left curb, err, I mean "kerb." And since most British cars are sticks, you usually have to deal with grinding through the gears with your left hand. And since most of us are right-handed, that's a serious issue to get used to.

RHD on RHD roads is waaay easier!
