on 1LT models not even just a blowing horn it seems. Didn't Tadge at last years bash say they were going to have an all seasons run flat tire option within a year at the 2016 bash?

Having A/S tires that are (Y) rated, plus being run flats is an expensive proposition as what other manufacturers and consumers are willing to pay the additional cost of a tire that is rated for 186+ mph to put on their car that doesn't have the horsepower to do 150 MPH.
I doubt there is much of a market for A/S tires that will fit the Corvette with a (Y) speed rating plus being a run flat tire, other than the Corvette.

All season tires as a factory installed tire is more than just installing the tires. The Corvette is fitted with (Y) speed rated tires(186+MPH) and if they install tires that are not (Y) rated, say Y rated(186 MPH) or W rated at 168 MPH, then they have to install a speed limiter on the car to match the speed rating of the tires.

A friend of mine was at the Bash, and he sent pics of a display that Michelin had that showed all season tires for the Stingray and Z51 size wheels. He said Michelin said these tires would be available this fall sometime.

Of course, the discussion on all the tires that were cracked last February while moving and loading Z06s to the shipping trucks.
And to respond to someone above about the demand for such a tire, i would be first in line to buy a set. I didnt get a Z06 to leave it parked in the garage when the temp goes below 40. I want to drive my car on every clear sunny day regardless the time of year.

So? In the absence of a signed legal document promising winter tires, where's the beef? Do you think every sentence the man utters is a personal guarantee for you? It didn't happen. Meh? And the alarm is gone for the 1LT. Well, then, if it's important to you, buy a 2LT or put in an after-market. Are those two items really deal-breakers for you? Would you have bought a 1LT with winter tires if only it had been offered? Will you get an "army of lawyers" involved to sue GM because Tadge said they were "working with Michelin" in an attempt to make this happen?
Good luck, bud. First world problem.

I don't see a reason to offer Z51/GS/Z06 cars with A/S from the factory, but for base, it should be 100% an option.

The "dropped the theft alarm" is totally incorrect. The Reference Only RPO Code UTT - "Theft-deterrent system, body security content and unauthorized entry electrical" has only been on the 2LT and 3LT for ALL C7 model years. This is NOT a change for 2017.

Thanks. I would think Black&White needs a whole bottle full. Would you NOT buy a vette because "But Tadge SAID" this would happen? Plus he's completely wrong about the alarm.
First world problem. Not important. Get over it. Geez. WHO needs the pill????

I attended the Michelin session at the Bash. The engineer made it perfectly clear that Michelin WILL HAVE the AS 3+ ZP, i.e. runflat, available this fall but only in the 18/19 and 19/20 Base and Z51 sizes. No runflats are planned for the GS or Z06. He said testing is about finished and production runs should start soon so there will be plenty of stock when the tire is announced for sale.
There was absolutely NO discussion about runflats being an option from the factory.
