Default All things created equal? Carbon fiber

So I've been exploring the idea of adding some carbon fiber accents to my 14 Z51; side skirts, diffuser, rear spoiler, etc.. and the prices seem to fluctuate all over the map. I understand the difference between hydrocarbon and real carbon fiber. I've seen rear spoilers go as low as $300 and spike up to $800. What am I missing?

There are some that are carbon fiber over a fiberglass base and then there are full carbon fiber.

The difference is weight and hand laid vs vacuum/ autoclave.

There is a difference in fit and overall quality between the various vendors. Some vendors are selling cheap Chinese knockoffs and trying to pass them off as high quality American made. Make sure to do your due diligence before buying. There is a lot of info available on this forum about which vendors are selling high quality parts. I just replaced my splitter with one from Katech. Perfect fit and looks as good as the OEM.

Made in Mexico/China/Taiwan vs. made in the USA. You can't make a carbon fiber rear spoiler for $300 in the USA.
