Default So I think my windows are possessed

A couple weeks ago I parked my verte, put the top up. I rolled up my windows and when they were fully closed they just went down on their own. I didn't think much of it at the time.

Fast forward to this weekend. I parked, put up the top and when I went to close the windows they went down on their own again. I had to roll them up 3 times cause they wouldn't stay up. I was using the auto up feature.

Has this happened to anyone else? I am positive the top was fully closed both time this is happend. And of course I had someone in the car this last time and I got the comment "Well it is just a Chevy".

I own a coupe so im no expert on the Vert, that said im thinking the vert has top position sensors and one of yours must be wonky and not thinking the top is up all the way and lowering the glass thinking the top is going down. Take it in. It could also be a lid sensor or the lid not going down and locking all the way. Are you in the West Burbs?

Thanks. Near west I'm about 10 min south of O'Hare.

My 2016 convert just did that this weekend passenger window only. After trying up and down a couple times it stayed up. I don't know if indexing the Windows will take care of that or not. Going to see if it keeps happening before I take it in.

Beat me to to bud. OP, just for giggles do the re-indexing procedure before you take it in. My C7 hasn't done this, but my C6's top/windows went crazy after the battery drained. After the re-index all was well. I do hope it's an easy fix. Please keep us updated.

My convertible does the same thing when the windows are raised with the top up.

I re-indexed the windows, and it helped a bit, but still happens from time to time (maybe 10%). Need to have the dealer look at it when I bring it in for my next oil change.

My convertible has not had issues. I would disconnect the battery, reconnect and index windows. See if that fixes it.
