Corvette lover nitpicks his C7's faults
Street Speed 717 has made a lot of videos about how much he loves his Corvette, so he decided to do the opposite and explain the few tiny little things that he doesn't like.

A big thanks to the "reviewers" on this site! I am glad I read the comments before I wasted time (and suffered mental fatigue) watching the video
I was very fortunate in my professional life never to have had to work with a professional whiner. Some friends have shared how tiring it can be to spend most of your day around someone who complains without end effectively acting like the world's biggest Shop Vac sucking all of the fun out of every situation.

To spare anyone wishing to be spared, here is his list of complaints:
"The navigation system, the harsh ride, the sound the gas cap makes when it opens/unlocks, the first-to-fourth gear shift lock, shutting the trunk (doesn’t close right), exterior chrome trim, the interior plastic trim, and the screen response on the infotainment."
He indicates that he was proved correct because "5 of 8 of these were corrected for the 2016 model year". Did I miss something?
Anyhow, I dont' think I've ever heard the gas door unlock, I've never failed to close my hatch lid on the first try, I have a base non-Z51 and the ride is quite good (I have heard that the Z51 without MRC was a bit harsh, maybe he had that), I have an automatic, and my navigation system always knows where the car is (it even corrects the clock when changing time zones almost instantly), but the directions it gives are sometimes not the best. And, the sensitivity of the touch screen is adjustable. So I can't really agree with much of his "review", but I'm not surprised if he's been through several more cars since making that video, as I suspect he'll never be satisfied.

Street Speed 717 is not a Corvette lover! Pretty sure Mike does not own a C7 anymore, traded for a Hellcat.
His brand new Corvette Racing Yellow Z06 looks pretty sweet. I look forward to watching his videos on the difference between the C7 & Z06.
Will also be interesting to see how long he keeps the Z06. (My money is he trades it in on a Porsche within a year.)
