Scuff marks on door sill and corner of driver's side seat
You know what I'm talking about right? Those annoying scuff marks that you try so hard not to do getting in and out of your Vette but you do anyway?
I have them on the lower corner of the drivers side seat, door sill and on the door itself. They aren't aggressive looking scuff marks, but they are there none the less.
Suggestions on how to remove them?

For the regular scuffs/scrapes, I use Aerospace 303 Vinyl Cleaner followed by Aerospace 303 Protectant. For the bad ones, I also use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I use Stoners Glass Cleaner for the scuffs on the speaker. grill.

Also, after you take care of the scratches you can go on Ebay, or check one of our vendors for "door sill protectors". They are clear plastic covers that slip over the sill, and do a great job. Appox. 60 -65 bucks, but worth it to me.

Buy new ones they are cheap on Ebay.
Don't use protectors they scuff the sills when you open and close your door.

The first mod I did was to add sill protectors, thinking this was the way to go. The passenger side worked fine but the driver side cover caused scratches on the painted sill and Corvette sill trim. I threw them into my scrap bin. My thinking is the door's weather seal pressed the sill protectors down and subtle door/body movement caused the scratches.

Careful with Windex on plastic! It will turn some plastics white, and has ammonia in it.

I have a door jam protector, it is called "Verbal Command". I tell the passengers "Feet touch the ground and the floor, nothing else! Make it so!"

I use Mother's Back to Black when it gets really bad. Otherwise just some soap and water.
I will try the Magic Eraser bit as from the factory my speaker grill was scuffed up a tiny bit.

I bought a small piece of Xpel film via eBay as it is sold in bulk.....spent about $30 for a piece 18" x 5'.
Easy DIY installation to cover the Corvette or Stingray aluminum door sills.
You will have plenty left for other projects or you can buy a smaller piece of Xpel.
