I don't think the discount can be used on a Z06. It's a good deal but the timing is not quite right for me yet.

Actually it can, but only $1,000, not the $2,000 of the Stingrays.

I will probably get a C7 next year. They are really starting to appeal to me. I am currently driving my C6.

It's on top of any other negotiated amount off plus if you have a GM Card you can use it to get money off as well.

2017's are around the corner, nobody should be paying MSRP on a 2016. Not that many were paying that all year anyways.

2K is not a great reason, even if added on. 5K would be a heck of a lot more enticing.

Yup, I bought mine in Mar 2014 for $3M under MSRP (MacMulkin) when local dealers were demanding $5M-$10M over sticker. In that context, this doesn't sound like a great deal.
