The Corvette has been a great car since the C5.
As far as the C7, I'm just really looking forward to the C8.

Non the less who likes what could not matter less to me. I was done with vettes or so I thought and at the unveiling of the C7 which I just so happened to catch I was immediately hooked again and had to buy one. Mine has an ECS supercharger/meth injection/headers and when you get off that throttle and the BOV is screaming just makes my P P hard

IMHO, I think your scenario is off by one year. Add one year to each phase and I think you nailed it. I think you're right that the super car or mid-engine car may not be a Vette but something that Cadillac can market. Interesting that your scenario lines up with the statements from the body panel manufacturer when they justified expanding their plant due to GM introduction of a new vehicle using the same or similar materials as a the Vette. Just need to add one year.
