Default How often do you remove your wheels to clean them?

How often do you jack up your C7 then place it on jack stands to remove then clean & polish the wheel(s)?

Put my Ranger quick jack to good use this weekend and did just that. With the quick jack making it so easy, I've done it a couple times so far this spring.

Never on any corvette over the past 16 years. Except when the wheels are coming off for tires or a brake fluid flush.

I thought it was in the manual, to do it every time you wash car, or void your warranty.

I clean them on the while they are on the car. Don't see the need to remove them.

I clean the barrels on my wheels every time I wash the car, but never remove the wheels.
Bought a $3.49 glass washing sponge. It's a round group of small sponges attached to a handle about a foot long. Fits right in the wheel barrels. I use Griot's garage wheel cleaner. Works great. I use a paint brush to clean the calipers.

In 26 years of Corvette ownership (six cars) 600,000+ miles I made the mistake of doing it once..... NEVER again..... NEVER....

Greetings,

Every time I wash my car which is weekly...see first pic below. Ahhh ha ha, not really, I use this when I wash my car..see second pic below. I switched to ceramic brake pads that reduces brake dust and cleaning them is easy and requires much less effort.
