Default Delivery Post from May 28th '16 Pics, stories, barn finds and more*Mike@Criswell

~Well another week in the books and what a week it was! It finally stopped raining and we moved right into Summer and skipped Spring. I have several off site deliveries happening, Scott from Battle Creek, MI is picking up his Admiral Blue Corvette at the Museum, Gary from LA, Calif is doing Museum Delivery of his new Corvette and Stan C of Dallas, Oregon will be getting his New Shark Gray Z06 via Courtesy Delivery this week in Oregon. Below are some of the Bakers Dozen + that I delivered this week. Check out my Facebook page CorvetteFurman to watch Live video's of these deliveries and more!

~Julian S of Chesapeake, VA called me up last week as he had seen a '16 Race Yellow Z06 in our inventory on line. I gave him a sight unseen number on his '15 Yellow Z51 with 4,000 miles and yesterday he took the 3 1/2 hour ride North in his '15 and back South in his new Z06! Total time at Criswell was less then an hour.

~Ralph I of Kings Park, NY called me at the right time! 7 weeks ago we received allocation to build a few Admiral Blue 2016 Z06's and Ralph seized the opportunity of which will be a very rare Corvette when all the numbers come out for 2016 total production. GM for two ordering weeks allowed certain dealers limited allocations for ordering the new 2017 Color Admiral Blue on a 2016 Corvette. Ralph ordered Black Competition seats and 2LZ pkg. He and his buddy hopped a flight down to MD yesterday and drove home to Long Island in the new Z06.

~Chris R of Valley Stream, NY called me two weeks ago and he picked out an Arctic White '16 Stingray with Red interior. I gave Chris a sight unseen number for his C6 and he drove down to MD with his friend on Thursday and was in and out in under an hour. His new C7 was a dream to drive back to Long Island, NY.

~Marc D is from Wildwood, NJ but really resides and works in California. So when he called me from California a few weeks ago I had to do a sight unseen appraisal on his Jeep which was in NJ. Marc picked out of our stock a 2016 Black Stingray with Gray vents, Red Interior, red calipers and Black machine face wheels. This past Thursday he flew in to NJ and drove the Jeep down to Criswell and I had him headed North back to NJ in under 90 minutes. Next week Plycon Trucking will ship his new Corvette to California.

~Jay B of Potomac, MD traded in his 2012 Torch Red Grand Sport Convt with only 1,311 miles (Sold instantly) for a new 2016 Arctic White Stingray Convt with Red interior and Black top.

~Len S of Newark, DE called me up last week to inquire about two different '16 Shark Gray Z51 Convts that I had in stock. Len chose the Red Interior and is glad that he did. This is Len's 5th Corvette as he has been buying them since 1985.

~Esov V of Lexington Park, MD Called me 8 weeks ago to order his very first Corvette...a new '16 Black Z06/Z07! Thursday he rented a car and drove the two hours up to Criswell and I picked him up at Enterprise rental. Within the hour he was driving his new Z06 home after I went over the entire Corvette with him.

~A Corvette customers daughter just graduated from Villanova and Sara is headed to Pensacola Flight School in style, she bought a new Camaro RS yesterday.

~C7 Admiral Blue next to a C6 Lemans Blue...

~Thurgood Marshall Jr bought a new Z06 from me 6 months ago and he sent this bottle of Champagne to thank me and to say he loves his Z06!!

~Chris from Callaway and I at the Corvette Bash in KY.

~Reeves Callaway and the new C7 Callaway...I first met Reeves at Konner Chevrolet in the 1986 time frame.

~Many truckloads arrived this week...

~Ron F from Canada with his new C7!

~Throwback pictures both new and old...

~In Dusseldorf...

Have a great Sunday!

Thanks Mike for another interesting start to Sunday. Earlier this week, we paid a visit to Bobby Alloway's shop here in Tennessee and found this '63 Coupe being worked on for a future national tour. Happy Memorial Day and thanks to our veterans for their service

I have got to see it in person to be sure if it is right for me. Wife doesn't like Long Beach Red (my first choice). That Shark Gray convertible with the black top caught my eye (didn't even think gray) I would go with a black interior. These delivery pictures are great, gives insite to various color combinations. Keep them coming!

Showing the different color combo's is one of the reasons I started these posts.

Default Thanks Mike!!!

If you're thinking of buying from Mike, stop thinking and just do it!!!

The entire transaction -long distance, sight unseen trade, delivery, and shipping -was top notch and pressure free.

Wish i had a chance to put more than 200 miles on it before the guys from Plycar put it on a rig on Fri to ship to the Bay Area.

Thanks again Mike, great post as usual. I may be the only one, but it just hurts to see a great old Corvette sitting in a garage filthy, or out in the pasture rotting. There outta be a law.

Great pictures as always.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, that Admiral Blue looks damn good in the sunlight!

Also, whats up with the dude wearing all black, is he some kind of hit man or something?
