Good dealer service 2015 C7
Had my scheduled 12 mos service yesterday at Jeff Gordon Chevrolet in Wilmington NC. After hearing all the dealer complaints especially regarding the use of Mobil 1 I thought it appropriate to give a shout out to this service dept. Fast efficient friendly and used Mobil 1 oil without any hassle. After 1 year of ownership and this being my first American car in over 25 years I am very impressed. Love driving this car. Happy motoring.

After a recommendation, I take my Z51 to Bryner Chevrolet in Jenkintown Pa.
As I track the car, I took it there to have the factory required track prep done (oil, brake fluid, diff, etc). Although this is pretty routine stuff, I wanted to have an official service history in case of a warranty claim.
I have to say they were very efficient and professional.
I think that with the bankruptcy, GM had the chance to weed out a lot of small/marginal dealerships. I think they realized that to compete with imports, fewer, larger and better managed dealerships were required to up their service game.

Sounds like you found a good dealership service department, at least for oil changes. Hopefully the rest of their service will be of the same quality.

Problem is, the Auto Dealers have very strong lobbies that pass state-specific laws "protecting" their independence from the manufacturers.
If your local dealer sells 1 Corvette a year, good luck.
