Default Cherokee National Forest Cruise Today

My wife and I took a scenic drive through parts of the Cherokee National Forest today. If you ever get a chance it is a very scenic drive. You can also drive the famous Dragon's Tail.

Cool trip, wish I'd known you were there. I live very close to the Cherohala and go there frequently. Always fun to share the road with other like minded people.

Overlook on the Cherohala Skyway.

Did the dragon tail a few weeks ago. Live just in S.C. and go over the smokey mountains to Cherokee, N.C., Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge Tn. often. Good ride.

It is a beautiful area. Been there many times, and it's a great ride no matter what time of year you go. Great pics.

BTW, it's nice to see that your daughter was able to ride with you.

We ran the Tail and the Skyway a couple of weeks ago and it was great. We did it on a Wednesday so traffic wasn't bad. Even the roads to and from were good. The Vette was so much fun! Reviewing the PDR footage later showed over 1G five times and we didn't exceed the speed limit (much or often).

Looks like you and the wifey had a great time. I live only about a good 100 miles away we go up at least 3 times a year in one of the vette. I love the dragon but the wife don't care for it that much.

If a few guys get together for a week end I am always in for a good trip up for sure.. Robert
