Vette Skins install

Vette Skins install
I just got a set of Vette Skins, the installation looks simple enough, but the 'skin' itself seems just a little big (think millimeters). I understand these are pliable, but I'm seeking advise from someone that's installed them. They also seem just a tad long. Any close up pics of the both ends of the Vette Skin would be greatly appreciated.
TIA

They just stick on don't they? Can't you hold them up where they go to see how they fit?

I also would like to see how these are installed ( Split Window Rear Hatch).

The length of each of mine was fine, but in my opinion, I think they might be ever so slightly to wide. Perhaps a 1/8 to 1/16". Left a bit of overlapping lip along the top and bottom edge, but not really noticeable. The color match on my blade silver was perfect! Overall I'm pleased, and think they really enhance the look.
Sorry I don't have any pic's yet. But they would look just like those used on their web site.

That are a little wide in my opinion as well. I let mine overhang a little on the bottom, but I am pleased with the results.
Just take your time . I started mine from the rear and worked forward peeling the tape backing as I went forward. Do not use tape to hold in place as it can remove the finish! Tape is not needed! After install I left out in the hot sun and about every hour I went out and ran over the top with a micRo fiber towel pushing down firmly to make sure they were not going any where. I've been through countless amounts of miles and rain with no issues.

Ok, MUCH easier with 2 people. A second set of hands really helps. I liked the idea of not pressing down too hard until it's 'right' I also only peeled back a little of the tape backing at a time. I'll post pics tomorrow, she's tucked in for the night!

After about 8 months with no issues being a daily drive my driver side one flew off on highway at 55mph...lost forever. Emailed eBay store where I purchased to see if they will sell me just the one side or give me a discount ordering a new set.

I purchased mine direct from Vette Skins. I didn't quite get my right side one aligned properly, so called them and talked to the owner and was able to order another one for roughly 1/2 the price if I recall. I also explained that I thought they were very slightly to wide, and they made my replacement 1/32" narrower. Fits much better IMO. Overall I found their customer support excellent and I'm very satisfied with their product.

Interesting. These aren't really equivalent to the painted side spears on the exposed carbon fiber roof as they don't extend over the ridge down to the valley like the exposed CF roof spears do. As a result, they don't match the rear hatch. Here is what the real side spears look like:
