I had replaced the original pads a while ago with Carbotech ceramics. The rotors had about 9K on them and the pads about 4K. The dealer said that the Carbotech pads should work just fine with the new rotors, no reason to put new pads on at this time. I have driven about 200 miles on the new rotors and they seem to be nice and even with no pulsating.

2014 Corvette.. Two Piece or One Piece Front ROTOR
Anyone have an opinion/experience on this? After 3 years my rotors are warped when I come from a high speed stop. Looked up and GM has two different part numbers:
OE original (What I have already) : #23439965 Two Piece
New Part : #23242229 One Piece
Dealer has both but no opinion. Same price $99 each
Original (not my actual pic)
One piece

When the C7 Z51 debuted, they were equipped with two-piece rotors (#2 in your photo). A number of folks had warping problems with these, and GM issued a TSB where the fix was to replace #2 w/ #1.
They are interchangeable, and later MYs are equipped with the one-piece rotors. I've had no problems with #2 thus far on my 2014, but if I were you I'd switch to to #1.

Burning Brakes
A lot depends on the dealership and the relation you develop with them.
I ran track day at Watkins Glen which is notoriously hard on brakes. Overheated the Carbotech XP12's and developed hot spots on the rotors.
Dealer noted the hotspots and that I was using aftermarket brake pads and running the cooling rings full time as well as 26,000 miles on the car. But I've used this dealer 3 times already for alignments and seatbelt recall, so they decided to go ahead and replace the front rotors per the TSB.

The DBA 4000 are a good alternative, better than the OEM (one or two piece) and super expensive.
If you want OEM, definitely go with the one-piece. Those two-piece are two-piece for cost, not performance. The one piece don't need the cooling rings either.

Personally I'd get the DBA T3 5000 for the front and the T3 4000 for the back if I was getting new rotors.
I have StopTechs on my Focus, but I had DBA (XS) on my GTO. The DBA are expensive, but AWESOME.
