Default Just sold my '59 and bought the new Z51

I just sold my 59' after 12 years and bought the new Z51. Although I loved the 59', the new one is awesome. Can't wipe this smile off of my face.

Yea, there's more technology in the new steering wheel than the whole 59 car. The old one was incredibly cool though. I messed up and test drove the new one a couple of months ago and had to have it. I'm really enjoying the new one and wifey even likes it.

I bet it was a tough decision as that '59 was classy, but you'll definitely enjoy the comfront and power of your new Z51. Congrats

I also love my C7, but that must have hurt a little selling that beautiful 59. Hey, Good Luck and I hope you enjoy that new one as much as I enjoy mine.

Enjoy your new Vette, I bet once you took a ride in a C7 the decision to trade was a bit easier.

The 59' has always been one of my favorites. I would love to have owned one. I think the entire car was a "work of automotive art." It is an ageless classic in all respects. That said, I also absolutely love the my C7. Given the choice of the two, I would have had a difficult time giving up the 59'.

Beautiful car, congratulations. I know how you feel. I sold a '72 Roadster for a new C6 Roadster. While I loved the 72, the new one was absolutely great.

No doubt you will miss the '59 but the C7 will definitely make you smile just as much, if not more.

The 59 is stunning, the z51 is stunning and drives amazing. I'd guess the Z51 gives better overall satisfaction but yeah the 59 is a work of art.

Bet the C7 didn't cost much out of pocket after the sale of the '59.

I love 62's that was my first Corvette. I like the 1956-57 because of the single head lamps. Just look nicer in my opinion.

When it comes to Corvetts the C7 is the best Corvette GM ever produced. Amen.

It must've been difficult giving up the '59. My dream garage is having a C1 or C2 to go with my C7.

You're a lucky man to have owned the '59 for 12 years, as well as being able to upgrade to a C7. I haven't driven anything older than a C3, but I can imagine that there's very little comparison between the two.

Congrats to you for taking the plunge. After all, no matter what generation, the cars were made for driving pleasure....and I'm sure each had it's own, but there's no question that the C7 is a supercar.
