Black or chrome rims

Black or chrome rims
I've got a 2014 black Z51 M7 with black rims. Thinking about going with chromed Z06 style made for C7 Z51. ~ $1000 shipped. So hard to keep black clean. Chrome easier to clean? Which look better?

Yes.
(I have black chrome. I like the darker look but the gleam makes the spokes stand out against the black tire. I think black painted wheels disappear unless they are at right angles to the sun.)

Chrome. That being said there are plenty of pictures of black Vettes with Chrome or Black wheels. Simply choose the one that looks best to you.
As for the clean question they both require cleaning the frequency depends on how ocd you are.

Ha! We just went through this a couple of weeks ago on this forum. As a consequence to those conversations, I got some Chrome Z06 reproductions from DocZ, a vendor on this forum. The wheels have arrived and they will be mounted on Thursday.

It has NOTHING to do with being CHEAP. We just paid upwards of 60 grand for a Corvette and I doubt anyone chose black over chrome because of the price....Black is the NEW Chrome. On some colors Black ABSOLUTELY looks better. And to another poster....Chrome is not easier to keep clean, especially, with OEM Z51 brake pads. If you don't clean your wheels regularly that brake dust will CORRODE AND PIT your wheels.
